Why mediate online ?
Online mediation is the modern way to mediate. In this virtual world full of time constraints, online mediation processes have become popular for those who are time poor, however still very motivated to effectively participate in dispute resolution processes.
The benefit of online mediation is that you can choose your location and you are in control of your immediate surrounds. It is also a useful tool for those who are feeling uncomfortable or overwhelmed at the thought of coming physically face to face with the other party.
I use the online platform Zoom to link you into an online mediation session. It is as easy as downloading an app from a link I send you before the mediation commences.I offer online mediation services across Australia and alll my services underpinned by the principles of Restorative justice practices.
A bit about me.
Hello, I'm Maryann.
As a former police officer in Sydney (Australia), my extensive experience in conflict resolution and mediation processes began in 1988.
My passion and dedication in this field continued, where I became one of the first Restorative justice conference convenors for Queensland (Australia) Government Restorative Justice Conferencing program, specialising in offences of a sexual nature.
Since then, I have successfully facilitated many meditation processes within schools, workplaces, sporting organisations and faith organisations.
I uphold a strong belief in the principles of restorative justice and are passionate about using these principles when facilitating all types of conflict resolution services.
I work well with clients experiencing high-levels of emotional stress, and I possesses the required skill and sensitivity to ensure no further harm is caused.
I provide a courteous, prompt and professional services striving to achieve meaningful and robust outcomes for all, ensuring my mediation processes are tailored to respond to the individual needs of each client.
I also enable and encourage the right and responsibility of each client to have ownership and a ‘say’ over resolving their own issues.
